{Adiantum pedatum L.} also known as northern found growing in Hoh Rainforest on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state in the United States. It is also sometimes called five-finger maidenhairbecause itthe fronds look a little like fingers of a hand. They are propagated by division or from spores. They need shady areas and plenty of moisture to grow and are also used as house plants.
