Cog railroad and train using coal to generate steam takes tourists to the summit of Mt. Washington and back down again. Mt Washington is located in New Hampshire, is 6288 ft high, the highest peak in the Northeastern United States. Known for dangerously erratic weather with a long held record for highest wind gust [231 mph] measured at Earth\'s surface on April 12, 1934. Rarely can you see anything from the top because of tcloud covering. Very cold at the summit and travelers must be prepared, even though time there is very short, about 20 mins.
