Image is my interpretation of the scene of a major fire in southern California, USA. I have used paint, textures, etc. to give the gritty look and make it more vivid to match my idea of what it might have resembled during the fire. The moon glows brightly over the scene giving comparison of the eternal, and the fire or sunset colors, being transient. The colors of red cinders, ash in the air, and golden colors of the evening sunset and moon are reflected everywhere. Silhouetted tree limbs reach to the moon . Reds of the sky can be interpreted as sunset colors or fire depending on viewer. I had both in mind as I worked.
