Mixed media watercolor interpretation of the beautiful flower of the Hong Kong Orchid Tree. Beautiful pinks, magentas, and reds are brilliantly displayed. These trees are partially deciduous and native to southern China. Flowers are shaped like some orchids and colors may range from maroon, purples to reds, magentas, and pinks all in the same flower. Blooms are larger than other Bauhinia measuring about 5 1/2 to 6 inches. Tree reaches up to 20 feet.
